作品说明

《熟透》是一场情绪的释放，一个关于破裂、腐烂与重生的隐喻。红色的西红柿遍布整个空间，混合着真实的果实与人造的黏土仿制品，散落在土壤之中，仿佛生命在过度成熟后不可避免的崩解。身体沉浸其中，被果实、泥土与塑料布包围，处于一种介于束缚与解放之间的状态。

“熟透”不仅仅是物理上的腐败，它也是心理上的极限。当情绪堆积到无法承载的地步，就像过熟的果实一样，不得不破裂、渗透、溢出。在这一刻，破坏与再生交织，泥土成为孕育的媒介，破碎的西红柿成为见证释放的痕迹。塑料布覆盖整个空间，制造出一种温室般的封闭感，但这片混乱也成为挣脱的象征——熟透的东西终将落地，完成它的蜕变。

作品邀请观者去感受失控的美学，去思考个人的情绪、时间的流逝，以及当一切达到极限之后的必然溃散。

Artist Statement

Overripe is an act of emotional release—a metaphor for rupture, decay, and renewal. Scattered throughout the space, tomatoes in various states of real and artificial existence mix with soil, creating a landscape of excess and collapse. The body, immersed in this environment, is both confined and liberated, entangled in the tension between control and surrender.

Ripeness is not just a physical state; it is an emotional threshold. When something reaches its limit—like a fruit that has softened past its prime—it must break, seep, and spill over. In this moment, destruction and regeneration coexist: the soil becomes a site of transformation, and the ruptured tomatoes bear witness to an outpouring. The plastic sheeting that encases the room evokes a greenhouse—a controlled space—yet within it, disorder emerges, signaling an inevitable release from containment.

This work invites viewers to embrace the aesthetics of excess, to contemplate personal thresholds, the passage of time, and what happens when things reach the point of no return.
